We deliver hazardous cargoes up to class 6 all over the globe since 2008 by road, rail, air and sea: pyrotechnic products, cartridges, gunpowder, detonation tools, laboratory chemicals, petrochemical products, lacquers, paints, batteries for electronic devices and laptops, power banks etc. PROSCO team has great experience in organization of hazardous cargoes repacking from containers and truck trailers into rail cars at terminals for subsequent transportation to hard-to-reach regions of the Urals, Siberia, the Far East, the Arctic. We act in compliance with the rules and requirements on hazardous cargo transportation.


Hazardous cargo classification

Class 1 – explosive materials (EMs)
Class 2 – compressed and liquefied gases, gases dissolved under pressure
Class 3 – highly flammable liquids (HFLs)
Class 4 – highly flammable solid cargoes and substances (HFSs)
spontaneously combustible cargoes and substances (SCs)
cargoes and substances releasing flammable gases in interaction with water
Class 5 – oxidizing agents (OAs) and organic peroxides (OPs)
Class 6 – toxic substances (TSs) and infectious cargoes and substances (ISs)
Class 7 – radioactive materials (RMs)
Class 8 – caustic and (or) corrosive cargoes and substances (ЕК)
Class 9 – other hazardous cargoes and substances


What is a safety data sheet, (M)SDS?

A safety data sheet is a kind of technical documentation containing the basic characteristics of a chemical substance, the conditions of its safe use, storage, transportation, and disposal. A safety data sheet is required for cargo transportation, customs inspection, drawing up and obtaining other permitting documents. It has to contain the following information:

- Product identification data (name of the substance and information on the manufacturer)
- Information on the main ingredients
- Information on the substance hazardousness
- First aid
- Protection against ignition
- Handling and storage rules
- Personal protection equipment to be worn by employees when using the substance
- Chemical and physical properties
- Reactivity and stability
- Toxicity
- Environment protection
- Disposal
- Transportation safety requirements
- Regulatory information
